2021 Calendars – Bank Holiday dates
So as 2021 is fast approaching and I start to find a home for all the calendars I received as presents this year (5 at last count!) I thought I would do a quick summary of the bank holidays for 2021 so you can get your own calendars out (whether paper or digital) and plan your holidays.
Looking at the dates, Easter is early and the May Spring Bank Holiday is the latest it can possibly be.
I love a paper diary and with a new ink pen (I have borrowed Carys pen as she got a calligraphy set for her Christmas present and it reminds me of my childhood partly because of the simple joy of writing with ink and secondly of the ink stained fingers) I have happily filled in a few hours planning my year. Not that I have a great deal to write in it at the moment, but I am hopeful with the news this morning about the 2ndvaccine for Covid 19 that we will have an amazing summer in the UK. As soon as Simon starts decorating in January, I will share photos of our rooms.

Monday, 3 May… Early May bank holiday
Monday, 31 May… Spring bank holiday
Monday, 30 August… Summer bank holiday
Monday, 27 December… Christmas Day (substitute day)
Tuesday, 28 December… Boxing Day (substitute day)

I have updated all our availability for 2021 on our own booking platform and you can book via our website and also direct from the ‘Book Now’ button on Facebook plus of course you can always call on our phone – 01947602214. At the moment we are hoping to open for Easter on April 2ndand we do think that the Covid secure plans we have in place at the moment will still exist – all updated details on our website. But as always as the government changes the rules for hospitality, we will adapt.
